Will Norman yield a key role with LIV?
Report claims LIV is searching for a new CEO to replace lightning-rod Aussie leader

Since the formal announcement in late 2021 that Greg Norman would be leading a new organization called LIV Golf Investments, the World Golf Hall of Famer has held titles of both commissioner and CEO of what is now called the LIV Golf League.
But that could be changing as the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which backs LIV Golf, is reportedly searching for a new CEO.
Citing sources, Sports Business Journal’s Josh Carpenter on Tuesday reported that the PIF has hired a London-based search firm called Odgers Berndston to find a replacement for Norman in the CEO role.
If a new CEO is hired, it is unclear what Norman’s role with LIV Golf would be but he is expected to remain with the league, possibly remaining as commissioner.
Norman, 69, recently spent time in Europe scouting potential future tournament sites for LIV Golf events. Considering the credibility he has given to the start-up league, it is unlikely the PIF would push the two-time major winning Australian out completely.
