Just went to a party in Bethpage today. Why do you say it's a "shit hole"? I mean, it's not Brookville, it's just a middle-class neighborhood. Not sure what you are comparing it to?
My Bethpage was a 10000 acres of tract home developments. Identical houses with no character whatsoever. Of course then people didn’t have to sleep in their cars to get a tee time. You just showed up waited for anybody in front of you and played. I played the black course a few times. It’s very tough. I never understood why the pga avoided it. When they went there at first there were only a handful of players who were under par by the end.
So maybe it’s charming and middle class now, but trust me here. When I lived there it was more than a desire to leave, it was an ambition.
The American’s are very rude to the EUROPEAN PLAYERS TODAY and YESTERDAY
THE TENSION TODAY IS SICKING. AMERICA IS NOT ALWAYS FIRST. ACT LIKE FUCKING ADULTS FOR A CHANGE AMERICA AND ITS A FUCKING GAME FOR CHRIST SAKE.
you nailed it. Reminds me of a Giants Eagles game. Truly no class. As an American it showed who was the better sportsman. The end spoke volumes.
The Europeans act like the Ryder Cup is life, or death. But, if can't win wars, I guess team golf is the next best thing.
I grew up in Bethpage. Let me be delicate here. … er…… it’s a shit hole and I got out of there as far aa my grades would take.
