I guess you got your info from a different source than I did. In the interview I watched he was specifically asked about playing in the Procore.

That was a follow-up based entirely on his original response to Sports Illustrated that was not asked in any interview format and specifically did not ask about the Procore because the questioner knew that wasn't even an option. The press conference he opted to double down on something he knows the answer to and was just him/LIV trying to stir up trouble where there is none on a settled issue -- he's not eligible.

And why are you assuming he was trying to stir up trouble? You would only assume that if you don't like him. His tone in the interview was not nasty or snide. I'm guessing that you don't think he should be allowed to play on the Ryder Cup team either even though he earned his place.

He absolutely should be on the Ryder Cup team. No question. But he knows full well he's not eligible to play in any PGA Tour events, and try to pin that responsibility on the tour to make an exception for him was clearly designed to stir things up -- regardless of his tone. He was trying to make the tour look bad. He has options to stay sharp in Asia or Europe. That's the bed he made for himself. It's not on the tour.

I disagree 100%. Bryson understands the need for team unity and, according to Keegan, is doing everything he can to facilitate that. I also believe he genuinely wants PGAT and LIV to reach an agreement for some sort of crossover opportunities between the tours. Given that, I would be surprised if he was trying to make the tour look bad. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on this.

Okay. He certainly made himself look bad in pushing for something that would never happen. I don’t think there will ever be any agreement. They’ve chosen sides and they’re stuck with them now.

Did you see Keegan's comment that he thinks the Ryder Cup should transcend all of the PGA tour - LIV stuff. He's quoted in an Athlon Sports article from Aug 14th.

Are you really too stupid to understand that Bryson's comments regarding the Procore were in response to a question he was asked in a press conference?

Actually he was not. He was asked if he would try to stay sharp before Ryder Cup, meaning would he try to play some DPWT or Asian events he’s allowed to play in. He took that answer down the path he wanted to.
